Agusan has the Agusan Hill. Here took place a battle what is known as
the "Battle of Agusan Hill". The battle was between the local
revolutionaries against the well armed Americans on May 14, 1900.
In the battle in todays barangay Agusan
were two Americans killed and three wounded but the Filipinos suffered
38 dead, including their leader, Captain Vicente Roa.
