Barangay Poblacion has a beautiful treelined Park in the heart of the city, the Plaza Divisoria or Golden Friendship Park. The park was built in the early years of 1900 after a great fire burned the entire town almost. The idea was that the park in todays barangay Poblacion would be a fire breaker so not the whole town would burn down like in the old days.

Today the Plaza Divisoria is dedicated to the local and national heroes. The Plaza Divisoria is flanked by R. N. Abejuela Street and Tirso Neri Street and runs from east to west.

At the east the Plaza Divisoria begins with a newly build ampitheater and ends on the west by the Xavier University with the open air Park Cafe. The two streets will be closed for traffic on friday and saturday nights for the famous Night Cafe of Cagayan de Oro City. But the Night Cafe will be a good reasen for another photo album soon.

R.N.Abejeula St. seen from east to west from the corner of Capistrano St.	On Capistrano St. is the Lourdes College located...	...on both sides of the street connected by an overpass.

Next Rizal St. will cross Plaza Divisora. Here is one of the two public toilets located.	The free mason lodge is celebrating its centennial in 2011 and build in Plaza Divisoria here its own marker.	The backside of centennial marker of the free mason lodge in Cagayan de Oro.

Stores on R.N.Abejuela St. between Tiano Bros. St and Velez St.	Right on Velez St. is a pavillion and its used every weekend for live bands on the nights of the Night Cafe	Here is crossing the mainstreet Velez St. the Plaza Divisoria.

The Tourism Office has here its kiosk called the Tourism Show House. Behind is the 2nd public C.R. located.	Followed by the Heroes Plaza beautifully shaded by the old trees.	Heroes Plaza between Velez St. and Pabayo St. in the Plaza Divisoria in Cagayan de Oro City.
